Organizers:
A22 Education For All Foundation
The Hong Kong Association for Computer Education
Hong Kong Education City
iSTEM AI Lab
This exciting AI-human collaborative competition is for students (primary and secondary) and older adults (55+) from around the world to work together on a digital story/book (fiction or nonfiction). Students and older adults are encouraged to use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to help write creatively and collaboratively. Each team can write a story/book about how AI and robots can help improve our everyday life. Although we recommend participants to write about AI and robots, we also welcome participants to write on any other topics. In any case, participants (younger and older) will learn a new way of writing - AI-empowered writing. Though we try to promote intergenerational participation, teams without a younger or older partner can still participate in this fun event.
The winners will receive attractive prizes! To equip students with the knowledge and skills to participate competently in this interesting competition, 10 workshops will be offered for free to the participants!

International and Intergenerational AI-Human Collaborative Digital Story Writing Competition Award Ceremony
The award ceremony of the International and Intergenerational AI-Human Collaborative Digital Story Writing Competition was successfully completed on July 12 at City University of Hong Kong. The competition invited 200 primary and secondary school students from Hong Kong and Canada to participate. After final review, 30 outstanding works were successfully awarded.
Students use generative artificial intelligence tools for creative writing, letting AI inspire creators. In addition, we encourage students to write with Friends. In the process, students can help Friends learn information technology skills and learn valuable life experiences from them.
The competition is organized by The Hong Kong Association for Computer Education and A22 Education for All Foundation, and co-organized by Hong Kong Education City, City University of Hong Kong and iSTEM AI Lab. At the award ceremony, participating students showed their story creations after three months of training. These works not only showcase the students' AI skills, but also share how AI can be used to help humans and solve problems in life. After the ceremony, parents, students and teachers had valuable exchanges and learning with the organizer’s university AI education research team and shared their award-winning experiences.
